Why
Benchmark?
Benchmarking studies allow organizations to know where they
stand in relation to other companies, provide evidence of problem
areas, and demonstrate best levels of performance and solutions
for each area.
By identifying the "best" practices, participants can reduce
waste and improve productivity. In addition, Benchmarking measures
the amount of progress toward goals. Companies can set organizational
improvement objectives in terms of specific performance measures,
then measure improvement levels achieved.
